My Hubby and Me

This picture was taken during our bf and gf days pa. Those were the days when I was not too chubby (hehehe ... chubby lang ako noon but now i'm too chubby na). Haay ... this is one my personal goal this year ... to lose weight. One, because of health reasons. I'm not getting any younger so might as well manage my weight now than regret it later. Two, because of aesthetic reasons ... hehehe ... of course I have to look sexy for my hubby ... naku baka mapalitan pag hindi. And also, it's really hard to look for nice and cheap plus size dresses. It's much better that I put my money for my kids' education and other needs rather than spend much of it in just buying clothes. You'd like to see the difference ... see the photo below. I'll keep you guys posted on how I am doing with my weight control program. I still have 8 months before my 2nd son's 1st birthday and my __th birthday. Wish me luck guys!

Cars ... Cars ... Cars!!!

Cars ... cars ... and more cars! My eldest son Izzo (short for Luis Alfonso) soooo love cars! Name it ... Hotwheels (I think he has around more than 70 different models of it). He even have 4 different tracks to play with. He also has a Hotwheels ... Beat That! PS2 game. He was even hooked with the Disney Cars movie that he even requested for his own copy of it ... and for a time he literally watches it almost everyday. But what's amazing is that he's also fond of the real thing! He could distinguish different race cars ... and was even hooked in collecting Nissan 350Z model cars (mind you he has 4 of them ... he has the original orange color, green, red and a miniature type). He can also distinguish a Peugeot, Mitsubishi Evolution, Ford GT, etc. etc. He is also fond of playing Need for Speed Underground 2 both in his PS2 and in our PC. I think this made him developed more his eye and hand coordination skills. I remember during the time that he was just 2 years old he could already distinguish car emblems (Toyota, Mitsubishi, Honda, Ford, Mazda) and all the gasoline stations (Shell, Petron, Caltex, Flying V). He's really got a good photographic memory (talo pa ang mommy)!

The Reunion Part 2

Remember, I got home from our very first reunion at 3am of March 25 ... well the Part 2 was set on March 25, lunchtime. Got home at 3am, woke up at 5:30am went to office and had breakfast with Sir Dan and Ritz (in celebration of Sir Dan's 42nd birthday). Inspite of my busy schedule arranging details for a big event for our company. I asked permission from my boss that i'll be eating out for lunch with the friends. So, at 11am I was fetched by my friends and proceeded to Serendra at the Fort for lunch. Ate at Abe's (famous for their delicious Kapampangan food). I have only heard how famous this resto was (e.g. people lining up outside just to wait for their turn to eat, if possible prior reservation is practiced so you get to have available seats, etc.) So, I was there and it's true ... Was to have dessert at Conti's but was too hot to wait outside the restaurant so eventually ended up at Larry's Cafe (if my memory serves me right). Just had iced mocha since I was so full from our Abe meal. I ended up going back to the office at around 3:45pm ... Whew! I have to finish all the needed materials for our big Bohol event for Thursday ... IDs, Attendance Sheet, Uniforms, etc. But the guys wanted to chat more ... so they ended up waiting for me at the office parking while i'm doing my last minute preps for the event. Out at 6pm, we then proceeded to Marikina at a cafe at the back of SDS Hospital (sorry can't remember the name, don't worry i'll be back to that cafe and make a review on them). We ordered pasta, pizza and rice meals. In fairness, they serve good food! The thin crust pizza was great, even the spicy shrimp pasta was a hit! Since we we're still tired from the 3am gimmick that we had ... we parted ways at 9pm and will prepare for the Part 3: A Get Together with our Families.

Our First "High School Friends" Reunion

Would you believe after 17 long years ... my high school friend Clarice Hernandez came home to the Philippines. And her coming over paved way to our very first high school friends reunion. March 24, 2008 ... It's great to see them again ... Arlene, Emmarie, Clarice, Maribel (who wants to be called Bong instead) and Joyce. Arlene has three kids already, Joyce has one and yours truly with two. We met at Pasto in Eastwood City ('coz Clarice wanted to try pasta here in the Phils). Our chat was never ending, we have so much to catch up on - wow, a day would not be enough for this. We chatted (and ate in between ... hehehe). Oh, and mind you Clarice has a big appetite and told us that our servings were small (oh well, what would you do ... she's already accustomed with the american style of eating). Well, it seems that we can't get a hold of each other so Clarice wanted to see a standup comedy bar and suggested that we went to Punchline. Well, how did she knew about this ... internet! And mind you, when we got there, a lot of Balikbayans were there as well. Clarice was the first guest to sing in front of the crowd ... wow she's a brave girl! She sang "Nandito Ako" by Ogie Alcasid. Then stayed there till 2am! Got home at 3am ... and I so love my hubby for understanding me getting home so late ... I Love You Daddy! Mwah! And of course another get-together was set ... a Part 2! Guess when, March 25 at lunch time. I'll create another entry for this ...

It's Easter Sunday

It's 8:51 a.m. (Philippine time) and my 3 boys are still in bed snoring and sleeping. Kaya I got the chance to catch up with my blog posting. Well, at last we have a definite schedule for our high school barkada reunion. Will keep you all posted of the happenings. Anyways, for the last 4 days (that's since Maunday Thursday), since my mom and dad are in San Isiro and having a vacation with my relatives. Hubby and I are on our own preparing our own food ('coz my mom does all the cooking and preparing) so we eat later than the usual time like for breakfast we eat at around 9-10am na, for lunch we eat at 1-2pm and for dinner at 8-9pm. We've been wanting to go the mall starting yesterday but to no avail ... it's the last day of our long holy week vacation but we haven't set foot on any mall!!! I wanted to get a haircut also ... a rebond as well. But the question is when?????

Good Friday!!!

This is really a Good Friday! Would you believe my high school friend called me up and told me the good news that our long time high school classmate and barkada Clarice came home from the U.S. after 17 loooooong years! And this is the perfect time to have a barkada reunion (take note: a reunion that we've been planning for years already ... but since our schedules doesn't permit no reunion has taken place yet ... hehehe ...) Will definitely post pix and stories of this event.
This is another Good Friday spent at home. My mom and dad are in San Isiro with our other relatives having a vacation (take note: food & cold weather). They left yesterday and due to come back tomorrow (?) or sunday. My hubby ... well spending the last 2 days creating an airsoft gun from various parts he bought in separate parts. Well, he did finish it already and due to be tested if all internals are working properly. And after that, will be sold and be turned into cash. Izzo of course, did nothing but play ... Renzo on the other hand ... just literally drank milk and slept.
