Little Renzo is Down with a Cold

My little Renzo is down with a cold. We had him checked with his pediatrician ... well, the good news is its just viral and just due to the frequent change of weather - hot during the day and a downpour of rain every afternoon which makes the weather colder - the result ... a cold for my Renzo. O well, his pedia just gave anti-allergy meds and nebules for a 3x a day session for 3 consecutive days. Well, I hope he gets better ... 'coz I was asked by his pedia that if he doesn't feel better in 3 days ... i'd give her a feedback and most likely he'd be asked to take stronger meds like an antibiotic ... waaah!

Fun Monday Holiday Fever!!!

This is another Monday holiday for us! This has been two consecutive Monday already - August 18 and August 25! We had a family day already yesterday and today is just a stay-at-home and relax Monday for us ... in preparation for another busy work week ahead. My eldest son now is just watching TV, but will allocate ample time for study and review. It's their 1st Quarter Exams already on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday! Hurray for Mondays!!!

It's Official ... 7th Olympic Gold for Michael Phelps!

Yes it's official! Michael Phelps just won his 7th Olympic gold medal. He won the 100-meter butterfly against Milorad Cavic. Omega, the official timekeeper has released a photo as proof that Phelps won.

My Mom Shops!!!

One of my mom’s favorite pastime is malling. Yup, you heard it right! She sooo loves malling … whether it be window shopping or real shopping (is there such a word?). Home & Furnishings is her top priority to visit. And wouldn’t go home without buying anthing … I mean anything … from can openers, to rugs, Tupperware, bed cover, hand towels, oh you name it. I remember one time we spent almost two hours just roaming around this section. I got so tired that I told her that I would stop for the meantime and rest for a while. So, I sat down on a pile of area rugs which were on sale. There were other cheap rugs on sale … but the one I sat on was better. Oh, how I remember my feet was so sore that I ended up buying new slippers ‘coz I said to myself, we still have a long way to go, so I’d better make my feet feel more comfortable to suffice me until the end of my mom’s shopping spree. Oh well, back to the rugs I was taking about. Sign says that when you buy one area rug, you get another one for free. Good deal, huh! Well, so far there were a number of people buying these rugs on impulse because of it’s very nice and elegant design. And when my mom did got back to me … she even did bought one and took home the other for free. Then of course, we went straight to the ladies section to buy for ourselves new clothes. A blouse for both of us and a pair of shoes for office. Then off to the children’s department and bought some kiddie clothes for my two kiddos. Oh, how I love shopping!

Busy as a Bee!

Yup!!! I'm busy as a bee!!! Been doing three jobs already since July 30 ... I feel like I so drained when I come home from work. And this caused trouble one time when I was helping my kiddo with his homework. I ended up scolding him (yeah I know ... bad mommy ... promised myself not to do it again!). I had been missing my online life for almost two weeks now. Don't fret my friends ... I'll soon visit you again. Don't get tired of visiting me ... i'll return the favor ... I promise! I just need to finish all my deadlines and you'll see more of me again ...

Mr. Bean vs. Spongebob Squarepants

Oopps ... no, no, no! These two characters doesn't have a scheduled boxing fight. They are my eldest son's favorite characters. He loves to watch them in his cd and dvd collection (which we bought on sale!!!) and watches them for some x number of times already. He even knows the channel and the time slot where these two characters are shown. He even have stuff toys of them ... oh well ...

Mind you ... during the time when he was just 2-1/2 years old, I hid all his mr. bean cds because I associated his delayed speech with his watching mr. bean. We all know that mr. bean doesn't really talk that much ... and I thought that this was the cause of his speech delay ... hahaha ... yeah I know ... all moms are like that. Up until now, he still watches them and enjoys it very much!
