Safety Measures

Times are so different nowadays. Read the newspaper and there are a lot of stories like a child being sexually molested or a young girl being raped. I fear that every time anybody in my family walks out of the house even just within the neighborhood ... I pray for their safety. It's a good thing that there's already a law called the Megan's Law that can keep the public informed of the names, whereabouts, as well as pictures of sexual predators. It is making available to the public on the exact location of any previous sex offenders. So be informed by clicking on the Sexual Predator Search

I'm Yours by Jason Mraz

i like this song ... this is currently my cellphone ringtone ...

well you done done me and you bet i felt it
i tried to get you but you're so hot that i melted
i fell right through the cracks
and i'm trying to get back
before the cool done run out
i'll be giving it my bestest
nothin's going to stop me but divine intervention
i reckon its again my turn to win some or learn some

i won't hesitate no more
no more it cannot wait, i'm yours

well open up your mind and see like me
open up your plans and damn you're free
look into your heart and you'll find love love love
listen to the music of the moment maybe sing with me
ah la peaceful melody
its your godforsaken right to be loved love loved love love

so i won't hesitate no more
no more it cannot wait i'm sure
theres no need to complicate
our time is short
this is our fate, i'm yours

i been spending way too long checking my tongue in the mirror
and bendin over backwards just to try to see it clearer
my breath fogged up the glass
so i drew a new face and laughed
i guess what i'm sayin is there ain't no better reason
to rid yourself of vanity and just go with the seasons
its what we aim to do
our name is our virtue

i won't hesitate no more
no more it cannot wait i'm sure
theres no need to complicate
our time is short
it cannot wait, i'm yours

An Auto Loan ... Is it Possible?

My husband and I have been wanting to have a bigger car for our family. It's hard to fit a family of four (4) plus nanny in a sedan. So we've really been eyeing for an SUV even looking into second hand ones ... but due to our super tight budget we are not still able to get one. We're thinking of getting an Auto Loan or Auto Financing. But we both have to check out if it's still feasible for us to get one. Times are hard nowadays, remember? With the rising cost of all basic commodities … hmmm, I seem to earn too little now. So i'll just put this first in my wishlist.

Renzo was Confined for Pneumonia!

Am so sorry to all my blogging friends ... it's been awhile since my last visit to you guys! I had a very difficult three weeks ... my son Renzo was sick and confined in the hospital. Now my eldest Izzo had upper respiratory infection also, my hubby did got sick and was not able to move for two days ... I promise to get back to your tags and my visits!

Remember sometime two weeks ago, I posted that my youngest son Renzo is down with a cold? Well, it was not just an ordinary cold but it turned out to be mild pneumonia. The ordinary cold progressed to a cough and eventually an early stage of pneumonia. Luckily his pedia insisted that we bring him to the hospital for confinement and further treatment 'coz it might progress to pneumonia. So, the pedia signed and gave us the admission order for hospital confinement and treatment - that was September 9. So, we went straight to the admitting office of The Medical City in Pasig, we gave the admission order and asked for a room to be reserved for Renzo and will come back at around 9 or 10pm since we still have to pack our things for the hospital. Would you believe that we are in the 36th on the waiting list? My God, I couldn't believe it at first ... but we really cannot do anything about it ... a lot of children are being confined for the same case (I blame our bad weather for this!). Anways, the admission officer told me to try calling first before going to the hospital to check if there is any room available to us already ... so I did call them literally every hour to check the room availability ... 9pm, 10pm, 11pm, 12mn ... we were packed and ready to go ... but no room yet!

Sept. 10 - Didn't really have the chance to sleep well, Renzo was really fussy, crying and wanted to be carried all the time. He doesn't want to be put down even while he's sleeping. Thank God for rocking chairs ... at least we can sit down while rocking him to sleep. Good thing that my hubby was there to replace me whenever I feel tired and sleepy. Called the hospital again ... 8am, 9am, 10am, 11am, 12pm ... OMG ... still at 17th slot! We were constantly communicating with Renzo's pedia, updating her with my son's condition. We were on nebulization round the clock ... finally, we decided to bring Renzo to the E.R. (emergency room) ... I have a feeling that his condition has really progressed ... so we went straight to The Medical City E.R. ... told the doctors there that we have requested for a room already but the hospital has not room available yet for us ... we need immediate medical treatment for Renzo ... ASAP! Luckily after almost one (1) hour of waiting in the E.R. ... we were given a room already! Thank God! So, antibiotics were given through IV ... nebulization every 8 hours, he was given steroids too ... and an xray were mild pneumonia was seen. I really thank God for not leaving us during these times ... if not for Him, Renzo's condition could've worsen to a full-blown pneumonia. God you are soooo Good!

Sept. 13, 7pm - we were discharged at last!

Your Cross, Your Burdens can be Your Bridge ...

Something for us to ponder on and think about ...
This is also a good reminder!

"A sunshine ... a rainbow ... after the rain!"

Whatever your cross,
whatever your pain,
there will always be sunshine,
after the rain ...
Perhaps you may stumble,
perhaps even fall,
But God's always ready,
To answer your call ...
He knows every heartache,
sees every tear,
A word from His lips,
can calm every fear ...
Your sorrows may linger,
throughout the night,
But suddenly vanish,
in dawn's early light ...
The Savior is waiting,
somewhere above,
To give you His grace,
and send you His love ...
Whatever your cross,
whatever your pain,
"God always sends rainbows ...
after the rain."
